Tips, Warnings and Rules for Storage at AceSpace

First the Rules

1. No Smoking on Site
2. Pour nothing down our drains – these are storm drains
3. Don’t bring dogs onto site and make sure children are supervised.
4. Don’t let anyone into storage using the key reader at the inside of the gate, this reactivates the security and you could get a nasty shock off the fence.
5. Don’t tailgate in without using the key for access control, for the same reason.
6. Don’t let anyone you don’t know into the facility, and be responsible regarding who you allow in.

Warnings

1. We have a number of cameras around the site.
2. Fire extinguishers are on the buildings as you come in.

Tips

1. Store moisture sensitive items off the floor or on plastic sheets.
2. Clothing should be kept in plastic boxes if storing long term.
3. Mark boxes with felt pen and keep a map of where things are – useful if you need to find something mid-term.
4. Cover furniture and fabrics with a plastic sheet or tarpaulins – humid days followed by cold nights can create condensation.
5. Check your items monthly if possible. If you are away consider assigning someone else to keep an eye on your unit.
6. Consider insurance. Our insurance does not cover your goods.
